We use NGP Rack Cleaner, a biodegradable, non-toxic cleaning agent specifically developed for Hydroniq’s Rack, Pleat, and Tube Coolers. This powerful cleaner is effective against:
Marine growth
- Rust and oxides
- Lime and salts
- Algae and biofilm
Rack Cleaner contains a balanced formulation of citric acid and phosphoric acid, designed to loosen and dissolve deposits without damaging sensitive materials. It is safe for marine discharge, easily water-soluble, and does not contain PBT/vPvB substances.
After chemical loosening, coolers are thoroughly cleaned with HP water to remove all residue. Visual inspections ensure complete contaminant removal.
We clean the sea chest housing the coolers, restoring system flow and preventing future buildup.
Units are reinstalled with cleaned gaskets and torque-checked to specifications. All connections are re-secured to ensure leak-free operation.
