Nordic Green Products in 2025

2025 has been a defining year for Nordic Green Products. Across services, people, partnerships and market presence, the year reflects steady development rather than short term acceleration. The progress made in 2025 strengthens our position as an independent and technically focused provider of environmentally responsible solutions for marine and industrial operations.

Strong service activity and long term experience

Since launching our foam replacement service, Nordic Green Products has completed 80 foam replacement projects in total. This experience has been built over several years through structured project execution, planning, documentation and close coordination with shipowners and technical managers.

A key development in 2026 is increased flexibility in how these projects are delivered. From 10 January, Nordic Green Products operates without exclusivity for foam replacement work, allowing customers to engage directly with NGP based on their operational needs, timelines and preferred project setup.

As regulatory pressure increases and the transition away from legacy firefighting foams accelerates, demand for predictable and well documented foam replacement projects continues to grow. Our service offering is designed to reduce operational risk by covering planning, execution and handover with a clear focus on compliance, safety and controlled downtime. In 2025, we have placed increased emphasis on supporting customers who want to act early and avoid survey related delays or operational disruptions.

As part of this service activity, Nordic Green Products has further structured its approach to firefighting foam replacement through what we refer to as FoamSafe Transition™. This defined framework focuses on system condition, residual fluorinated substances and documentation considerations beyond the foam concentrate itself, supporting a compliant and verifiable transition to PFAS free firefighting foam.

Within this framework, FoamSafe™ represents the applied, system focused approach used when preparing existing firefighting foam installations for PFAS free operation. The distinction between foam product compliance and system readiness has become increasingly important under evolving IMO and SOLAS requirements, and FoamSafe Transition™ is used to address this boundary in a clear and structured manner.

Strengthening the team

In 2025 we strengthened our organisation by adding new capacity in both project management and field operations.

• Krister joined Nordic Green Products as Project Manager, supporting planning, coordination, documentation and delivery across service projects.
• Tobias joined as a Service Operator.
• Jo joined as a Service Operator.

These additions increase our ability to execute time critical service work while maintaining quality, structure and predictability for our customers.

Gaselle company 2025

Nordic Green Products was recognised as a Gaselle company in 2025, for the second consecutive year. The Gaselle recognition is awarded to companies that demonstrate strong growth, financial stability and sustained development over time.

We are proud to be recognised as a Gaselle company for the second year running and look forward to building on this momentum in 2026.

Launch of new website and digital platform

A major milestone in 2025 was the launch of NGP’s new website. The updated platform provides a clearer and more structured presentation of our products, services, reference projects and partner collaborations.

The new website supports improved accessibility for customers and partners while creating a scalable foundation for future content, service development and international visibility. It also reflects how Nordic Green Products works in practice, with clear information, transparent structure and a focus on technical relevance.

New partners and strengthened collaboration

In 2025 Nordic Green Products expanded its partner network with a clear focus on technologies and expertise that strengthen our service delivery and long term customer value.

Weka Marine

Weka Marine is a specialist in engineered cooling systems for maritime applications, including box coolers, keel coolers, steel coolers and heat exchangers. Their systems are designed for demanding operational environments where reliability, efficiency and serviceability are critical. Weka Marine’s cooling solutions support main engines, generators and auxiliary systems across a wide range of vessel types.

Through our collaboration with Weka Marine, Nordic Green Products supports customers with inspection, service and maintenance of cooling systems, with a focus on lifecycle performance and operational reliability. The partnership combines proven cooling technology with condition based service and practical field experience.

EnvSonic / Globatech

EnvSonic provides ultrasonic antifouling technology designed to prevent biological growth in marine and seawater systems without the use of biocides. The technology uses high frequency sound waves to disrupt the settlement and growth of microorganisms, algae and barnacles on hulls, seawater piping, sea strainers and heat transfer equipment.

By integrating EnvSonic’s technology into our offering, Nordic Green Products can support customers with preventive solutions that reduce fouling, maintain cooling efficiency and lower maintenance frequency. This complements our existing services by adding a long term preventive element to seawater system management.

These partnerships are selected to improve customer outcomes, reduce downtime and ensure that solutions perform under real operating conditions.

Industry presence and trade events

Nordic Green Products maintained an active presence at key industry events throughout 2025. Trade fairs and conferences remain important arenas for technical dialogue, partner engagement and insight into regulatory and operational developments.

At Nor Shipping 2025, NGP met with shipowners, operators and partners to discuss sustainable maintenance solutions and practical approaches to regulatory compliance.

NGP also participated in Chasing Zero 2025, contributing to discussions on emission reduction, operational efficiency and realistic pathways toward cleaner maritime operations.

In addition, NGP attended international exhibitions outside Norway, supporting increased visibility in key maritime regions and strengthening relationships beyond the domestic market.
