# MV Connector: Box Cooler recoating

Heavy fouling and coating loss called for maintenance of MV Connector’s Box Coolers. Nordic Green Products delivered recoating and tube repairs for BLRT Repair Yards at Western Shiprepair in Klaipėda, Lithuania.

## Restoring the existing coating

Nordic Green Products (NGP) worked with Western Shiprepair to address the condition of the vessel’s cooling equipment. The yard carried out surface preparation under NGP supervision, while NGP was responsible for recoating and repairs.

The assignment included cleaning with Marine Fluid, application of SÄKATONIT extra AR-F and repairs to eight tubes.

## Supporting reuse through maintenance and repair

NGP completed the agreed recoating and tube repairs at Western Shiprepair, and the equipment was assessed as fit for continued operation.

Maintaining and repairing the existing Box Coolers supports a circular approach to vessel maintenance. By carrying out this work at the yard, NGP helps shipowners retain serviceable equipment and reduce the need for replacement.
