### Scope of Work

While transiting from Singapore to Australia, Nordic Green Products was tasked with cleaning multiple freshwater tanks aboard **Sea1 Sapphire**. The objective was to sanitize and prepare the tanks for reuse under hygienic conditions, ensuring full compliance with onboard water quality standards.

### Execution

Prior to cleaning, all tanks were visually inspected to confirm structural condition and cleanliness level. Once cleared, **Odin Gel** was applied across internal tank surfaces and left to dwell to break down organic material and bacterial biofilm.

After the activation period, the gel was removed using a **high-pressure washer**, and tanks were fully drained and prepped for refilling.

Work was performed in pairs, and cleaning priorities were coordinated continuously with the ship’s crew to minimize operational disruption.

### Products and Method

- **Odin Gel** – Biodegradable and HOCNF-approved cleaning gel for drinking water systems certified by the Norwegian Institute of Public Health for cleaning of fresh water systems.
- **Spay application and high-pressure washing**
- **Effluent management** in accordance with maritime protocols
- **Onboard crew inspection** confirmed acceptance after each tank

### Result

All cleaned tanks were found to be in good condition and approved for operational use. Internal inspections by crew members after each completed tank confirmed that the cleaning met the ship’s hygiene and maintenance standards.
